No additional parental contribution is requested by the school. Extra facilities and activities besides education, extracurricular student activities and excursions, are paid by the school.
Your child will receive a list of the learning and resource materials that need to be purchased by themselves. These include exercise books, folders, stationery and gym clothes and the like. If you have any questions about this list, please ask the teachers during the first week of school. After this week, your child is expected to have the indicated materials with him/her during lessons. Learning and teaching aids, which feature pornographic or offensive images or texts, or which express left- or right-wing extremist political ideas are not allowed. This also applies to your child’s clothing.
In secondary education, your child receives the obligatory learning materials on loan free of charge. For each pupil, we receive an amount of money from the government for this purpose. In addition to the compulsory teaching materials, we may make the use of other teaching materials compulsory. We do not charge you for the following materials:
Stichting Leergeld can support parents with (temporarily) limited financial resources so that their child can still participate in activities. Think for example of a sport, dance or music lesson.
